Stream: Mani Coolin’ – Hope4TheYouth (Mixtape)

Via Soundcloud “Los Angeles native Mani Coolin’ started the year 2015 off strong releasing his lead single “Free My Mind” & wasted no time to follow the single up with a Visual to match. Today Mani releases his highly anticipated debut album “Hope4theYouth”. The project finally see’s light of day after almost a year long wait. The WestCoast rep enlist Dreamville’s own Cozz, OpM’s Niko G4, Big Gipp & Hardaway Smith for features. On the production side Jay Kurzweil produced the whole album with some assistance from Grammy nominated producers THC, Detroits own YOG$, Meez & Ashton McCreight.”

LA’s Mani Coolin’ just dropped off his highly anticipated new mixtape, Hope4TheYouth. We heard rapper Ronnie Dylan (read that full interview here) mention his anticipation for this tape yesterday, especially based off of the title, and I will be the first to say it does not disappoint. The new West coast is emerging. We’ve been seeing the emergence of new, more art conscious music in Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Seattle, etc, and now we can see this begining to happen down in Cali, Cali (word to ‘Pac).

Stream the tape below, and let us know what you think. Do you think Mani and ’em can bring the coast back? Let us know below. If you dig the project go support it over at iTunes!
