Glad you like the music! Sometimes it feels like I’m just sending out emails into a giant black hole.
Every artist, musician, writer, or creative of any sort can relate to the words above. These are the words of appreciation expressed towards me from a young Oakland, CA up-and-comer who goes by the name of TOPE. Things like this are the reason I personally listen/watch/read to every single submission we get over here at RLGT, because as a creative myself I know how awesome it can feel to get that reply, or that feedback, or the chance to show what you’ve got, no matter how insignificant it may seem. And for me its rewarding to receive that appreciation back, but its even more rewarding when I come across talented new artists, as was the case with Ronnie Dylan, and now today with TOPE. A young dude grinding, and bursting with talent and potential.

Just one week after dropping off his the single, TOPE is back with the official video for “Miss Me When I’m Gone” featuring Dizz and produced by Zach Striar. Right before his move to Oakland, TOPE hooked up with director Ryan DeReamer and Hailey Thelen of Totem Ent, as well as co-star Chloe Victoria Cerva to provide the backdrop to his latest anthem. As always, TOPE delivers some fresh and unique visuals to go with his new music.
Peep the visuals below, and if you dig it, be sure to download the rapper & producers new BROKEBOYSYNDROME EP. Check out TOPE over on Soundcloud, and hit the man on Twitter to show some appreciation back! I think I speak for the whole RLGT fam when I say I can’t wait to see whats next with this guy.
