Canada’s own River Tiber is set to make waves with his latest album, INDIGO.
Although “Illusions” did not make the final cut on the album, this harmoniously 808’s-influenced track is what you can expect from INDIGO. The project features River Tiber to the fullest extent, as he delivers the full-length project with guest features from fellow Toronto natives Daniel Caeser and Jess Park.
If you’ve never heard the name River Tiber before, then today is surely your lucky day. It’s almost unbelievable to think that he’s flown so far under the radar, when the 24-year-old artist has already collaborated with the likes of Pusha T and Kaytranada. The collaboration list extents on with: BADBADNOTGOOD, Jazz Cartier, Ghostface Killah, Freddie Gibbs, and yes, even the 6 God himself (Drake.) It turns out, “No Tellin'” off Drake’s IYRTITL actually sampled “No Talk” off INDIGO.
River Tiber is proving to us that his craft has already been widely and critically acclaimed by artists within and outside the borders of Canada. Now it’s time for Tiber to receive the praise and respect he’s already garnered from the industry, from us as listeners.
The official release date of the album is set for June 24th with pre-orders available on iTunes, but early streaming of the album is available on Apple Music. There’s also a dope article on River Tiber by Noisey, so head there to check out the full feature!
